Toddler and Prek3 Program

Our Toddle class is for children who are 30 months by the start of the school year. The program runs from 9:15-12:15 Monday-Friday.

The focus of this play-based program, using principles of child-centered constructivist approach to early childhood education, is to build social-emotional skills, develop self-regulation, promote independence skills, and foster cognitive and language development in a relaxed and fun environment. Children learn as they explore and learn from others. When children are ready, the program will integrate early academics such as letter and number recognition, basic letter formation, patterning, and using open-ended materials for focused exploration and imaginative play. Children will also engage in activities focused on gross and fine motor skills. Outdoor play on our new playground, with rubber turf, is an integral part of the daily routine. Children will also have access to our Indoor Playroom, which is designed for children to engage in free play and use play to spark development.

PreK3 Program will receive music in our new Music Room once per week with the Teacher of Music, Jordan Klotz.

Classes are offered as a three-day program or five-day program from 8:45-11:45 and include snack. Children who are 3-years-old may opt to bring their lunch and stay for the additional lunch hour from 11:45 to 12:45. Optional Early Drop-Off is available at 8:30 am.

Pull-ups are permitted.

PreK4 Program

Our PreK4 class is for children who have turned 4-years-old by October 1st. The program runs from 8:45-12:45 OR 8:45-2:45 (extended day) Monday-Friday and children bring lunch.

The focus of this program is kindergarten readiness, while still using play to build social-emotional skills, self-regulation, and foster cognitive and language development. Through our readiness curriculum, Learning Without Tears, which is a leading research-based multidisciplinary early learning curriculum, children will engage in activities and lessons designed to promote reading, writing, and math readiness, along with problem-solving, appreciation for civics, and an understanding for how things work. Children will also engage in activities focused on gross and fine motor skills. Outdoor play on our new playground, with rubber turf, is an integral part of the daily routine. Children will also have access to our Indoor Playroom, which is designed for learners to engage in free play.

Our PreK4 Program will receive music in our new Music Room once per week with the Director of Music, Jordan Klotz.

Classes are offered as a three-day program or five-day program from 9:00-1:00 OR 9:00-3:00 and include snack; children bring lunch. Optional Early Drop-Off is available.
