We had a great week learning about the letter Tt and learning about the changing seasons! We read books about fall and observed our trees on the playground changing. We made a project where we painted what trees look like in all the changing seasons. We wrapped up the week painting turkey tracks on the letter Tt! The weather has been changing but we have been enjoying the playground. We have been learning how to put our jackets on ourselves and we are going a great job with this skill. I have been teaching the children the rhyme “tag by your toes, arms in the holes and flip”. The children place their jacket upside down on the floor with the tag by their toes, put the arms in the holes and then flip the jacket over their head. We love when our little friends practice their independence and they are so proud of themselves when they do! Please ask your child to show you “the flip” at home.
There is nowhere I would rather my daughter be than CNS. My 4.5 year old daughter Kayla, a once hesitant leg-hugger, has slowly morphed into an active participant who adores school, her teachers, and her peers. This transition in Kayla is due to the wonderful guidance of Kayla’s teachers, who challenge her while also allowing her to develop at her own pace. The school treats my daughter like family, and they have instilled a love for learning in Kayla that is crucial in her formative years. I am so thankful to CNS for all they do to nurture my daughter into the student she is capable of being. I could not give CNS a higher recommendation. THANK YOU!!!!
