We had a great week learning about the letter Tt and learning about the changing seasons! We read books about fall and observed our trees on the playground changing. We made a project where we painted what trees look like in all the changing seasons. We wrapped up the week painting turkey tracks on the letter Tt! The weather has been changing but we have been enjoying the playground. We have been learning how to put our jackets on ourselves and we are going a great job with this skill. I have been teaching the children the rhyme “tag by your toes, arms in the holes and flip”. The children place their jacket upside down on the floor with the tag by their toes, put the arms in the holes and then flip the jacket over their head. We love when our little friends practice their independence and they are so proud of themselves when they do! Please ask your child to show you “the flip” at home.
We love CNS! You know how they say you need a village when raising kids? Well, CNS is absolutely that village for our family. The teachers and staff feel like family. The school is warm and nurturing while providing a strong educational foundation. It’s exactly as you want a nursery school to be…fun, loving, happy, and flexible. My oldest loved his 3 years there and was more than prepared for Kindergarten. My middle is currently loving her time in the 3s class and my youngest will begin next year in the Young Learners class. Thank you, CNS! (Oh, and did I mention, they have valet drop off in the morning?!? ??)
