We had fun weighing different objects such as crayons, pennies, candy hearts, unifix cubes, and dice. For example, we would check to see which is heavier, 6 candy hearts or 1 die? The children took turns using the scales and figuring out which was heavier. We also used the terms more and less, heavier and lighter. The children kept a record of the objects that were heavier. It was a great learning activity and they enjoyed it!
We have had such a wonderful experience at CNS! Thank you for making our first school experience such a positive one. You (director) and all the staff have been fantastic! – A Mom of child entering kindergartenStephanie D
