In Cooking Enrichment this week we had fun preparing for Cinco de Mayo by making some delicious food. We did a lot of chopping, mashing, pressing and mixing. We made Quackamole and Rooster’s Roasted Salsa! They really enjoyed it with chips. The recipes are below if you would like to make some at home. After the chefs worked and ate we read “Chicks and Salsa” and then had fun wearing Mexican hats and dancing together. It was a great afternoon!
