We had so much fun learning together in the Afternoon Enrichment classes this week. In STEM we built pendulums with pvc pipes and strings. The children worked in teams to build structures they thought were sturdy. We attached balls of different sizes and weights to the string to knock out structures down. We also attached a bag full of paint to the string and moved the string in different directions to create really cool art! The kids determined wrecking balls, clocks and swings all work like pendulums. In Cooking Enrichment we made Mummy Dogs and for dessert Witches Hats. The chefs enjoyed making them and eating them too! They also had a great time playing the Mummy Wrap game! In Literacy Enrichment we did a fun letter recognition project with apple trees and recognizing the letters on them. We had fun reading and playing together!
