The children of the 5 day Pre-K class had another fun-filled week. Mr. Q spent the week with the children. They searched for q’s in a letter hunt, they made quilts, and Mr. Q helped them make a list of QUESTIONS that the children want to learn about farms. The children learned why farms are important and they became “farmers” by planting vegetable seeds. They had a choice of planting peppers, tomatoes or green beans. The most popular was green beans. The children also sequenced many farm stories and they also enjoyed retelling many farm stories as well. The children used their five senses to describe their favorite farm animal and with help from the teachers, wrote their first poem! We are all looking forward to the trip to the farm next week!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRIENDS!
