Over the past two weeks, the children patiently awaited the caterpillar’s transformation into butterflies. They loved seeing the change and loved setting the butterflies free. Their excitement continued with the arrival of a dozen eggs. The children listened to the egg timer to ring and then would shout reminders to turn the eggs! The best part of the week was seeing the children’s faces as the chicks hatched. The children loved petting and holding the chicks as well. Some children stood by them for hours! The children also spent a wonderful evening at school with their Mom. The children sang songs, put on a Nursery Rhyme Show and even danced with their Mom. We had to do the CHICKEN DANCE of course!!! We would like to wish all our Moms and Grandmothers a very HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY
