We have been learning all about arctic animals in Pre K 3B. We started this unit with polar bears. We did a science experiment where we felt ice water (it was cold!) then we put Crisco around a rubber glove and put our hands back in the water (it was warm!). This acted like a polar bear’s blubber, which keeps them warm in the winter. We made several polar bear projects, and learned some new Winter songs. We also celebrated several birthdays, and have been having fun together as a class learning our alphabet though several fun circle time activities. Additionally, we have been practicing our fine motor skills by writing our names. I’m so proud of all the little learners in my class!
There is nowhere I would rather my daughter be than CNS. My 4.5 year old daughter Kayla, a once hesitant leg-hugger, has slowly morphed into an active participant who adores school, her teachers, and her peers. This transition in Kayla is due to the wonderful guidance of Kayla’s teachers, who challenge her while also allowing her to develop at her own pace. The school treats my daughter like family, and they have instilled a love for learning in Kayla that is crucial in her formative years. I am so thankful to CNS for all they do to nurture my daughter into the student she is capable of being. I could not give CNS a higher recommendation. THANK YOU!!!!
