For the past two weeks the pre-K-3 children have been very busy learning new letters, working on forming letters, and doing lots of fall crafts!
Last week the children used their fine motor skills to practice tracing their names!
They also created process artwork with fall themed art supplies, including feathers, fall colored tissue paper, Pom pom balls and precut turkeys, leaves and owls.
For Thanksgiving, the children helped “fluff up” our classroom turkey by sharing things they are thankful for! We wrote these on paper feathers and added them to our bulletin board turkey.
On Tuesday we celebrated special male person night where the children invited dads, uncles, grand pops and friends to join us for a special evening and a fun craft!
The early season snow storm on Thursday gave the children a chance to create snowy pictures in November! They used Q-tips, white paint, snowflake stamps and black paper and to create nighttime snow pictures!
Mrs P and I wish everyone a safe and festive Thanksgiving!
