PreK 3B has learned all about pumpkins these last two weeks in October! We have been exploring the letter Pp and the sound it makes, and have made several Pumpkin projects! We also practiced our math and science skills by using pumpkins which included measuring a pumpkin with cubes, estimating how tall a pumpkin is and also estimating the circumference of a pumpkin with links. After estimating, we measured our pumpkins and determined who guessed the closest amount and recorded our data during circle time.
We had several birthdays in the month of October and we enjoyed celebrating with our friends! We also enjoyed their family members visiting our classroom and reading us a special book. We had two Halloween parties and enjoyed pumpkin stories, games and songs! We had a lot of fun!
