Pre-K3B is having fun!

Pre-K3B had a fun filled week learning all about our teeth and proper dental hygiene. We had a special visit from a local dental hygienist who taught us about our teeth. We learned a lot!In the classroom, the children enjoyed exploring hands on activities about teeth which included brushing LEGO teeth in a water table, learning brushing teeth songs and making play doh teeth.

Shapes of all sorts!

The past week PreK-3B learned all about shapes and the letter S! We had a special visit from Suzie the shape monster, who loved to eat shapes for lunch! We have been learning all about arctic animals in Pre K 3B. We started this unit with polar bears. THE LAST FEW WEEKS PREK-3B HAS BEEN EXPLORING ALL THINGS FALL.

PreK 3B has learned all about pumpkins these last two weeks in October! We have been exploring the letter Pp and the sound it makes, and have made several Pumpkin projects! “C” is for community helpers and “L” is all about Leaves in Pre K3B!

We have been busy learning about our community helpers in our neighborhood, focusing on firefighters. We learned several fun songs and projects around this theme, and we even put out our own pretend “fires” in the classroom with a spray bottle (baking soda and vinegar were the ingredients). We are falling into Fall in Pre K 3B!

We have been continuing exploring apples in our dramatic play area, which was transformed into an apple orchard. The children enjoyed painting our apple trees, which are hanging inside the classroom with pretend apples to pick. This has been an overall favorite! WE HAD A FUN AND BUSY WEEK IN PRE-K 3B!

This week was fun an exciting in our class! We introduced our new theme with a mystery bag which consisted of an apple inside of a brown paper bag.
