PreK-4C is so HAPPY to kick of the New Year!

The children arrived back to school after the HOLIDAYS with a visit from Mr. H and  his HAPPY HAIR! PreK-3B goes arctic!

We have been learning all about arctic animals in Pre K 3B. We started this unit with polar bears. We did a science experiment where we felt ice water (it was cold!) then we put Crisco around a rubber glove and put our hands back in the water (it was warm!). PreK-4B Starting the new year strong!

4B has had a great 2019 so far! We had yoga and had some fun with a parachute and the tunnel. Ms. K also came to visit! She loves to kick and has taught us a lot about kindness. Hooray for Halloween in the Young Learners Class

Last week we talked a lot about pumpkins and even cut one open to see what’s inside! The children took turns scooping out the flesh and counting the seeds. We read books and sang songs about Halloween including “Horray for Halloween”. We also had our Halloween party and played Halloween games. Food Pantry Donations

Community Nursery School accepts donations for the Food Pantry located at the First Presbyterian Church. Items can be dropped off anytime when you bring your child to school. There is a bin at the bottom of the steps.


CNS Enrichment Classes

Wednesday, September 12th will be the beginning of the CNS Enrichment Classes. Children attending a PK4 class at CNS, or children attending morning Kindergarten at a nearby school are able to participate. We offer Art, Kids Cooking, STEM, Adventures in Literacy and Stay and Play.

The 3 Year Old’s had a super fun week!
