This week we met Mr. H “happy hair” and worked on our scissor skills cutting green yarn to make happy hair. We also decoded letters for the phrase happy halloween and made ghosts with our hands. We read some books from Mr. H like “Where Is Mr. H?”, “Who Will Help?” and “Henny Penny“. All of the books discussed sharing.
We had a fun filled week of Fall activities, play-dough, hula hoops and more. The children enjoyed playing and learning together.
This week we did some exciting STEM-based learning by using paints and watching them mix as we blew through straws. We also learned about Mrs. M and her neighborhood.
In Mrs. McLaughlin’s class we had fun working on our “who lives in my house” graphing project.
In Mrs. Mclaughlin’s class we had so much fun together this week. We counted and identified letter in our names during small group. We also had successful book looks after lunch and we learned about our classroom.
