3A Welcomes Spring

Over the last few weeks, 3A has been working hard on letter recognition and sound recognition!  We have been exploring and practicing the letters R, K and O.  The children were using fine motor skills to build rainbows, sew tails on kites and create an orange octopus.

The children also started an exploration of balls. They discovered the different games and sports we can play with balls, what is inside balls, and how different balls bounce and roll.  We also played basketball and soccer in the playground during the nice spring weather.

The children also officially welcomed spring. They created spring process art to hang in our classroom and they built inchworms with their names for our outside bulletin board.
